The business policy of PROGECO is characterised by the quality and reliability of the products/services, the constant care to satisfy the customers’ needs and permanent improvement.

PROGECO works according to a Business Quality System in conformity with the UNI EN ISO 9001 decree and it obtained the Certificate in 1998 aware of the fact that it represents only a part – although significant –of its own Quality policy.

The Company aims to guarantee the constant conformity of the products/services with the Customer specifications in the interest sectors of PROGECO: design and production of mechanical construction, repairing and maintenance of industrial and naval plants.

The necessary operations to make the existing Quality System in conformity with the UNI EN ISO 9001 decree have directly involved the reality of the Company and have been preceded by a critical moment of reflection about the analyses of the present situation, the definition of the future and the indication of the necessary actions for the implementation of the new Business Quality System.

The organizational structure, the training of the personnel on the Quality themes, the analyses, the creation and the verification of the Quality documents (Quality Manual, Procedure, instructions and documents), the application of new criteria, the verification and introduction of corrective actions have all been necessary.

The constant commitment of the whole structure allowed in short time to reach all the objectives that PROGECO regarded as priority:

» The general improving of the Quality seen as constant reliability of the processes, products and services
» The increasing of competition
» The qualification through certificates for Italian and foreign customers
» Cost reduction
» The increasing of total profitability
» The Quality Department

The application of the rules in the Company as required by the standard UNI EN ISO 9001 is supervised by a specific department, where the Quality Insurance Service responsible person carries out the supervision and the systematic verification of the prescriptions written in the Quality Manual; he is also in charge of the planning of the verifications relative to the several functions of the Company and to the monitoring and the taking over of the anomalies.
It is therefore necessary for the Quality standards that the Personnel takes part in training sessions according to a training plan based on new technologies and on the Quality System itself.
