Operating since the last 25 years in the industrial plant, mechanical and electroinstrumental fields, PROGECO has been able to combine the technical skills in design developments with low cost countries fabrication.

1982 - The process of continuous
improvement has allowed PROGECO to become qualified supplier of relevant public and private companies.

1988 - Opening of Florence branch
In order to better follow the requirements of the customers, PROGECO opens an office dedicated to the development of the basic and detail engineering for industrial machinery, such as compressors and turbines.

1994 - Opening of Rosignano (Livorno)

With an area of more than 4.500 square meters, of offices and workshops, PROGECO is able to carry out not only engineering, but also fabrication of most components of plants and equipments.

1999 - Opening of PROGECO BULGARIA SA
PROGECO BULGARIA SA splits the assembly, construction and maintenance activities among the external yards located inside multinational companies nearby and its own workshops, where large steel structures, pressure vessels and large skid plants are fabricated along the internal dock, with the possibility to load them directly on a barge. In both sites there is local manpower coordinated by Italian technical-commercial management.

2005 - Opening center of Pomarance (Pisa)
Thanks to the wide experience in the field of the maintenances, PROGECO constitutes in Pomarance the Power Service Team specialized in the maintenance of power generation plant related to renewable resources such as the geothermal one.

2005 - Constitution JV PROKAP, Kazakhstan
In August 2005 has been constituted a Joint Venture with company’s headquarters in Atyrau, and the aim of being directly located in this important area of the Oil & Gas field.

2006 - Opening of ENGECO ROM SA
Born in July 2006, it is working in industrial engineering in Oil & Gas environment. The advantage added by this new plant is the focusing and good quality/price value - Italian Management.
